CTA QT Meet 5 (2026/2027) – Level 2 & Above

CTA QT Meet 5 takes place on 17–18 October 2026 at UWC Swimming Pool, Bellville, Cape Town, offering Level 2 and above swimmers another opportunity to put their training into practice, develop their race skills and work towards their qualifying goals.

Cybersmart Aquatics will compete on Saturday, 17 October only, as originally communicated to our swimmers and parents.

Updated programme

CTA has confirmed the revised session programme dated 7 October. The meet now comprises:

Saturday, 17 October — Session 1: starts at 08h00

Sunday, 18 October — Session 2: starts at 08h00

Saturday’s programme includes 200m Backstroke, 50m Butterfly, 100m Freestyle, 200m Individual Medley, 50m Breaststroke, 400m Freestyle and 200m Breaststroke.

The guide also includes qualification target times and, where applicable, the improvement needed from each listed entry time to meet the swimmer’s designated level’s time standard. These comparisons support race planning; meeting a time standard alone does not confirm championship eligibility.

New heat and lane allocations, officials’ duties and further confirmed information will be added as received. Please check the booklet’s version number to ensure you have the latest update.
